Moree is located in North-West NSW Australia, and sits at the junction of the Mehi & Gwydir Rivers, and is the centre of the local farming district. Moree is a known area, thanks to its rich black-soil plains. So rich, one local claimed the soil is so fertile, 'You could put a matchstick in the ground overnight and get a walking stick in the morning'!

Hot Artesian Pool & Spa Complex

MOREE HOT MINERAL BATHS - Some 50,000 visitors flock to Moree every year for therapy at the famous hot mineral baths. They are a great place to relieve those aching muscles and arthritic pains. The hot artesian spas are renowned for its reputed benefits! (History) these spas were discovered accidently when settlers were searching for reliable irrigation water. A bore was sunk into the Great Artesian Basin and the water that emerged was 41 degrees celcius!
